About

Hi! My name is François Rottenberg. I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher and B.A.E.F./Francqui Fellow at University of Southern California (Los Angeles, USA) working with Prof. Molisch.

I obtained the PhD degree in electrical engineering in 2018, jointly delivered by Université catholique de Louvain (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium) and Université libre de Bruxelles (Brussels, Belgium). My thesis is about the use of a new waveform for next generations of wireless and optical fiber communications. My thesis advisors were Prof. Jérôme Louveaux (UCLouvain) and Prof. François Horlin (ULB).

If you want to know more about my PhD thesis in layman’s terms, here is a link to the video (in French) of my participation to the “Ma thèse en 180 secondes” contest.
