Travelling directions:
Louvain-la-Neuve can be reached
- from Brussels: by train (from 40 to 60 min, 5 €) or by
taxi
- from Brussels airport: by train (approx 80 min, 12 €) or
by taxi (approx 30 min in good traffic conditions, 60 €)
- from Brussels-South airport (Ryan Air): by bus+train (2
hours) or by taxi
To come by train from Brussels airport, first take a
train at the station (lowest level of the airport) to
Brussels-North.
From Brussels-North or any Brussels station, take either a
direct train to Louvain-la-Neuve or a train to Ottignies
(direction: Namur). Once in Ottignies, take a train to
Louvain-la-Neuve.
You can plan your Belgian train trips here
and your Europan train trips here.
When travelling, please do not
confuse Louvain-la-Neuve with Louvain (or Leuven),
which is a different city.
In Louvain-la-Neuve,
here is a path from the train station to my office
(2nd floor of Euler building).
If you stay at hotel Ibis (former Mercure), here
is a path from the station.
If you come by car, there is a free car park ("Parking
rédimé", "Parking malin") opposite to the Euler building,
see here
on the map and a picture here.
