The JCC research group is part of the Modelling division of the Institute of Condensed Matter and Nanosciences at the Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium.

The scientific interests are centered on theoretical condensed matter physics and nanosciences, covering the areas of : electronic, structural and optical properties of crystals and reduced-dimensional solids; fullerenes, nanotubes, nanocones, graphene and novel 2D materials; quantum transport through molecules and other nanosystems. The main objective is to explain and predict the properties of materials using first-principles theories and computational physics.
