The mediation data along with the SAS commands can be found in the following word file:

MEDIATION.DOC

As can be seen from the INPUT statement, the data file contains one line per participants

With five variables

SUBJECT       = Subject

SC$              = Condition of Social Comparison

SCc              = Condition of Social Comparison (contrast coded)

SET              = Self-Evaluation Threat

Cuing           = Cuing Effect

A file with only the data can be found in the following file:

MEDIATION.XLS

These data are taken from Muller, D., & Butera, F. (2007). The Focusing Effect of Self-Evaluation Threat in Coaction and Social Comparison. Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, 93, 194-211. An electronic copy of the paper can be found here

The multilevel mediation data along with the SAS commands can be found in the following word file:

MULTILEVEL MEDIATION.DOC

As can be seen from the INPUT statement, the data file contains one line per participants

First, two variables

SUBJECT       = Subject

NODISDIS     = Distraction (contrast coded)

Then for each of the 8 products, it creates a PRODUCT variable and encodes

EVALCON      = Evaluative Conditioning

UNAWAW      = Contingency Awareness (contrast coded)

A file with only the data can be found in the following file:

MULTILEVEL MEDIATION.XLS

These data are taken from Pleyers, G., Corneille, O., Yzerbyt, V. Y., & Luminet, O. (2009). Evaluative conditioning may incur cognitive costs. Journal of Experimental Psychology: Animal Behavior and Processes, 35, 279-285. An electronic copy of the paper can be found here

The multilevel moderation data along with the SAS commands can be found in the following word file:

MULTILEVEL MODERATION.DOC

This file contains seven variables namely

SUBJECT       = Subject

OUTCOME     = Probability of success of the cooperation

TRAIT           = Specific trait

SELF             = Rating of the self on the trait

PARTNER      = Rating of the partner on the trait

For the sake of allowing the follow-up analyses, two statements allow creating two variables, namely SUCCESS and FAILURE

A file with only the data can be found in the following file:

MULTILEVEL MODERATION.XLS

These data are a subset of the data of Study 3 presented by Toma, C., Corneille, O., Yzerbyt, V. Y. (in press). Holding a mirror up to the self: Egocentric similarity beliefs underlie social projection in cooperation. Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin. An electronic copy of the paper can be found here
